When I first made this soap I thought it would be exfoliating however the activated charcoal is so fine the lather is soft and silky. The activated charcoal is derived from coconut husks. The essential oils, as in all of Cabana Soaps, are organic and fair trade. The essential oils used are Lavender, Citrus, and Mint. Lavender is known to help with: eczema, sunburn, insect bites, rashes, headaches, and anxiety. Mint is known to be stress relieving and may help with acne. Citrus oils have been used as a natural body tonic for centuries and have calming properties.
